Denise Alva is an enterprise Quality and Regulatory executive who shapes how regulated life sciences organizations grow safely, credibly, and at scale. With more than 17 years in regulated industries and over a decade specializing in biologics, tissue banking, and medical devices, she is known for building quality systems that strengthen compliance while enabling operational performance and market expansion. Since joining Sequence LifeScience in 2020, Denise has led the development of scalable quality infrastructure, validation strategy, and regulatory frameworks supporting multi-entity and global operations.

As Chief Quality & Regulatory Officer, Denise provides executive oversight of enterprise quality governance, regulatory licensing and accreditation strategy, and inspection readiness across the full product lifecycle. She partners with senior leadership to align risk management, product commercialization, and technology modernization with disciplined compliance execution. Her leadership focuses on anticipating regulatory risk, driving continuous improvement, and building resilient teams capable of sustaining performance in complex environments.

Denise is a Certified Tissue Bank Specialist through the Association for Advancing Tissue and Biologics and holds a Six Sigma Yellow Belt. She is recognized for leading with integrity, clarity, and accountability, and believes quality is not a barrier to growth, it is the structure that allows innovation to move forward with confidence.
