Brian Kieser

Chief Executive Officer

Brian Kieser is a serial entrepreneur and medical technology founder who builds companies at the intersection of biomedical innovation, advanced manufacturing, and clinical performance. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fountainhead Biomedical Holdings, a San Antonio–based venture platform designed to create, scale, and commercialize next-generation medical technologies.

Through Fountainhead Biomedical Holdings, Brian has assembled a vertically integrated ecosystem of companies focused on orthopedic medical devices, regenerative biologics, and advanced biomedical manufacturing. The platform includes Nvision Biomedical Technologies, Sequence LifeScience, and Lockhill Advanced Manufacturing Technologies—each purpose-built to solve critical challenges in surgery, tissue healing, and medical device production.

Brian founded Nvision Biomedical Technologies in 2013 and quickly positioned the company as a leading innovator in orthopedic surgical technology. By focusing on the intersection of surgeon workflow, implant performance, and enabling technologies, he built the company to develop solutions that enhance surgical precision and improve patient outcomes. He is also the inventor on 14 issued patents covering structural encoding technologies and methods used to uniquely identify implanted medical devices, advancing traceability, device intelligence, and safety within the medical device industry.

Recognizing the growing role of biologics in modern medicine, Brian went on to found Sequence LifeScience, a human tissue processing company focused on the development of advanced regenerative products for wound care and surgical applications. The company is focused on unlocking the therapeutic potential of human tissue to drive better healing and expand the future of biologic medicine.

To support the full life cycle of medical innovation—from concept through scaled production— Brian also launched Lockhill Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, expanding capabilities in precision manufacturing and biomedical production for the medical technology sector.

Earlier in his career, Brian founded Watershed Idea Foundry, a pioneering additive manufacturing company specializing in orthopedic and dental implants. Under his leadership, the company became an industry leader in medical 3D printing before its successful acquisition by international medical device manufacturer Medilliant in 2023.

Brian is known for building companies that turn complex biomedical ideas into scalable healthcare businesses. His work centers on developing vertically integrated innovation platforms that accelerate the path from concept to clinical adoption—reshaping how medical devices are designed, manufactured, and delivered to the physicians who depend on them.

Mr. Kieser earned his BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at El Paso and is a CPA licensed to practice in Texas.

Brian resides in San Antonio with his wife, Lorena, where they are actively engaged in supporting their community through organizations such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation and other philanthropic initiatives. Outside of his professional leadership roles, Brian values spending time with his growing family, and he and Lorena prioritize creating meaningful experiences with their five children.
